Most wedding directories are built around one kind of wedding. Search "caterer" and you'll get a wall of the same generic listings, whether you're planning a jollof-and-speeches reception, a multi-faith ceremony, or three outfit changes and a live band. Plannative exists because that gap is where the vendors people actually need — Afrobeats DJs, halal caterers, henna designers, multi-faith officiants, and plenty of vendors who don't fit a neat category at all — were getting missed.
What we actually do
Plannative is a directory and inquiry platform, not a booking agent. Customers search and browse vendors, save the ones they like, and send a structured inquiry — date, guest count, budget, what they're after — instead of a DM into the void. Vendors get those inquiries in one dashboard instead of scattered across Instagram, WhatsApp, and email, and reply on their own terms.
Once a Customer and Vendor are talking, agreeing a booking and taking payment happens directly between them — Plannative doesn't sit in the middle of that, take a commission, or process any payment. We built the introduction; what happens after that is between you.
Verified means checked
Every Vendor profile is reviewed before it goes live and gets marked "Verified" — we check that the business is genuine and that the details submitted are consistent, so a Customer isn't gambling on an anonymous listing. It's a real review, not a badge anyone can claim by signing up.

Search is UK-wide, location-aware down to postcode, and built around the vendors and celebration styles that a lot of mainstream platforms treat as a niche add-on rather than the default.
